References/ Future Research

I think future research into raising awareness about the mis-representation that happens on a daily basis by the media is something that should be a top priority as it affects all of us. Whether you believe it or not people are influenced by the negative content that media produces and it shows in our daily culture where we still experience racism, stereotyping, violence, objectification etc.. on a daily basis because of the influence that media has on us. As well it’s not only just this theme that should be pursued, but the overall influence that media has on everyday life with regards to body image and eating disorders amongst young kids as well.
